The performance of the Thor hammer is excellent. Being a relatively small hammer for our 6 tonne machine it means the size of the hammer does not damage our footing inserts but we are able to vary the hammer speed to give plenty of power in any ground and get the footing inserts in very efficiently. Being small it can be easily manoeuvred into harder to reach places (in between established fruit trees) and angles. It has been an excellent investment for us as we are able to ram and stand up to 150 poles a day accurately and safely.”
